Jeroen Jongeleen in memoriam exhibition Sterrennacht at Boijmans van Beuningen

Until and including 13 December, the Depot is presenting Sterrennacht, an exhibition organised in memory of their recently deceased director, Ina Klaassen. The small-scale presentation brings together a selection of recent acquisitions with which Ina had a special connection. Supported by the curatorial team, Ina played a crucial role in securing these acquisitions.

ABOUT
The exhibition takes its title from the artwork Sterrennacht by Co Westerik. Ina was very fond of his work. The painting evokes the grandeur and vastness of the universe, in which humankind is merely a small part. It is a fitting title for a presentation that not only showcases remarkable acquisitions, but also serves as a tribute to Ina’s great dedication to the collection and her lasting significance for the museum and the Depot.
