What is the future of technology in an increasingly unstable world? Networks of Precarity, curated by Lieke Wouters, looks at today's techno-political landscape from the perspective of everyday vulnerability. Where innovation, and artificial intelligence above all, is usually presented as futuristic, solution-driven and inevitable, the exhibition centres the human scale, bottom-up initiatives and magical traditions in our relationship with technology.

Nestor Siré takes part as a member of the collective latency.club with Memoria, developed with anthropologist Steffen Köhn. Based on long-term ethnographic fieldwork, the work interweaves William Gibson's cyberpunk story Johnny Mnemonic (1981) with Cuba's real-world 'offline internet', the Paquete Semanal, a physical network through which digital content circulates by hand. Live-action scenes are combined with found footage from the Paquete, drawn from Siré's archive of an entire year of its content. Mirroring the memory loss of its protagonist, the work slowly degrades over the course of the exhibition as custom software keeps corrupting the images.

Alongside it, Jeroen van Loon uses a computer club for senior citizens to ask who is left behind when digitalisation becomes the norm, and Ginevra Petrozzi explores the role magic can play in our individual and collective relationship with digital systems. Together, the works show how friction and ambiguity can be embraced, making room for a shared precarious existence.
