On the 10th of December, Oedipus Brewery and Upstream Gallery organize a new edition of Rafaël Rozendaal's open source exhibition concept Bring Your Own Beamer (BYOB). 

BYOB is an one night exhibition to celebrate the media art community by using projection. Projection can mean many things. Projections are flexible and create a freedom to react to each other's works, move things around, and create a dynamic collaborative experience. 

This BYOB edition, there will be over 40 media artists participating. We are going to create a dynamic and energetic one-night-exhibition of moving images and combine them with music, beer and  and a line up of experimental electronica and raving beats.

ABOUT BYOB

The idea is simple: Find a venue, invite many media artists and ask them to bring their own beamer to show their work. 

Open source concept Bring Your Own Beamer is an idea by Rafaël Rozendaal, but anyone can organize it. The first BYOB was organized by Anne de Vries & Rafaël Rozendaal in Berlin in 2010. Now already more than 350 BYOB's have happened all over the world.
