Biography

Joseph Palframan currently lives and works in Belgium.

The artist got his degree in Fine Art at the Royal Academy of Art Den Haag (2021) and his degree in Art History (Arts, Media and Society) at Leiden University (2021).

Although Palframan mainly wor­ks with paint, his prac­ti­ce is fluid and site-spe­ci­fic. So far, his work has main­ly been about iden­ti­ty, post- and pre-colo­nialist aes­the­tics and race the­o­ry from the ground up.
