In 2013 Upstream Gallery presented a solo exhibition by Frank Ammerlaan at the centennial edition of The Armory Show, New York. From the official Armory Show press release 2013:
Nieck de Bruijn of Upstream Gallery, Amsterdam said, “We sold out our booth of young Dutch painter Frank Ammerlaan within the first hour of the VIP opening day. This was an incredible fair for us and under the new management there is a palpable change and we feel like welcome guests in this great city. We look forward to returning again in 2014.”
